  • What statement/fact/question is being communicated to you?
A lot of cigarettes are being seized at Dublin air port.
  • Is this being communicated in a clear and focused way?
Yes.
  • What could be developed further?
A few of the symbols are a little off. In the image only poster the number of cigarettes and word seized are not extremely clear.
  • Have the posters been kept 'simple and to the point?'
Yes.
  • Is a statement, fact or question being posed?
Fact.
  • Has the restriction of two colours plus stock been met?
Yes.
  • Are the two colours plus stock appropriated to the solution?
Yes.
  • Why are the two colours plus stock appropriate/inappropriate?
The colours relate to the countries flag, perhaps research airport related colours? or colours relating to tobacco packets etc.
  • Do the posters work as a set or series?
No.
  • Why do they/don't they work as part of a set or series and could this be developed further?
All the type and the combination imagery are too similar. Try changing layout and direction.
  • Is it evident which poster is TYPE, IMAGE and TYPE&IMAGE?
No. IMAGE&TYPE, all words and image could be inside image of a plane?
  • Are the posters "memorable, immediate high impact and clear'?
Yes, I love the use of symbols and how a message is communicated first using image. I like the simplicity in relations.
  • Do you feel the brief has been fulfilled to its full potential?
Unsure.
  • Further feedback...
First sort out the IMAGE&TEXT poster, make it apparent that it's different from the other posters, the line underneath 'MILLIONS' is exactly the same as the TEXT poster.

  • What statement/fact/question is being communicated to you?
32 million cigarettes were seized trying to be bought into dublin airport.
  • Is this being communicated in a clear and focused way?
Yes.
  • What could be developed further?
It's clear and gets the point across really well. I like how the type and image correspond.
  • Have the posters been kept 'simple and to the point?'
Yes.
  • Is a statement, fact or question being posed?
They have been kept simple and to the point.
  • Has the restriction of two colours plus stock been met?
Yes.
  • Are the two colours plus stock appropriated to the solution?
Unsure.
  • Why are the two colours plus stock appropriate/inappropriate?
The green and orange work well together however when reading each poster the segments of text and image become difficult to read because of how the orange and green are so opposite.
  • Do the posters work as a set or series?
Yes.
  • Why do they/don't they work as part of a set or series and could this be developed further?
Yes they flow nicely because of the rectangle shape the content has been fitted into.
  • Is it evident which poster is TYPE, IMAGE and TYPE&IMAGE?
Not really, the only major difference between the IMAGE poster and the IMAGE&TEXT poster is the outline of the arrow. In some ways they become to similar.
  • Are the posters "memorable, immediate high impact and clear'?
Yes they are high impact! The colours stay strong and commit your mind to remember what you read, mainly on the just text poster.
  • Do you feel the brief has been fulfilled to its full potential?
Unsure.
