Speaking from experience,
Crits to date,

CRIT 1
The initial crit was a case of proposing our ideas to a small group, presenting boards each explaining concept, content and delivery. I received encouraging feedback and reassured me that the poster/calendars were a suitable route to take.

CRIT 2
In a considerably smaller group this time, we were to present our progress with a physical response to the ideas we went away with. Only having a couple of designs, both looking at combining typographic definitions alongside a calendar feature.
This session was extremely beneficial to my progress, discussing the worries and developing ideas I had started to think about.
//One of my worries was keeping all the posters solely related to the anatomy of type. Although I wanted to revisit this area to reinforce my own personal knowledge, I'm not going to dismiss it entirely. - Instead, work on the series of calendar/posters addressing all the basic elements of graphic design throughout.
//As I'm looking at the organisational element on top of basic terminology, I felt the wall posters didn't address this as fully as I would like them too. At this point I thought about where I could/would possibly use a calendar to write on and keep track of stuff, leading me further to think about the big sheet of card I keep on my desk to scribble/lean on and protect the surface underneath. Ending up at the thought of screen-printing a big academic year planner onto the sheets of card presented to us in our packs at the start of the year. - Killing a few birds there with one sheet of card!
//Printing and stock was an issue that arose whilst discussing the execution of our final products. I want to print on a stock that replicates that real poster style finish, glossy and thin. Maybe even double sided to save on paper? The main problem being the print room is absolutely booked up until our deadline, hmm.

I may have to re-think producing such large poster designs and introduce the graphic design basics slightly differently...
